British Transformer Bushing
To complement our standard range of bushings we have extensive knowledge on country specific requirements, the BS range of bushings are manufactured to meet specific requirments in the UK and are typically approved by the NGC or DNO's. The bushings range from 1.1kV through to 52kV and up to 9 100A.
All outdoor bushings are manufactured and tested in accordance with IEC60137, the detail of the bushing is governed by historical standard such as EATS 35-1 or BEBS T2. One important factor regarding this historical range of bushings is we can offer replacement or refurbishment for existing units.
Air end termination is typically either the screwed conductor stem or flag terminal (various hole arrangements are available) and the oil end termination can be as the air end termination or a machined hole arrnagement to suit the customers requirements.
